This post will be short and sweet because I don't really have much to stay.
I'm the kind of person that doesn't usually stand up for myself and lets people walk all over me because I just don't like controversy. But, today I do not feel like being the bigger person.

It has been brought to my attention that a few "friends" of mine are sending the link to my blog to one another just to make fun of me and what I post about behind my back.

I am a good friend. I have answered every phone call when it rings, answer every text even if it is 4am, and I am there whenever you need me, day or night. To think that this is how I get "thanked" for all of that? It doesn't really make me mad that you are making fun of me behind my back because you have done it for years and I've just ignored it really. But, it makes me mad that I kept telling myself to consider these people as "friends." I'll be honest, it really does hurt. But yet, I just let those people run all over me and never once stood up for myself.
If you want to take time out of your day to send my blog to someone via facebook or a text message that's fine...but at least have the guts to say those same things to my face. If you don't like what I'm blogging about or saying I can only say one thing, don't read it.

It is really sad when people not only judge you in real life but in the "blogging world" to.

That's all I have to say.

  1. I enjoy your blog, and as long as you do too, that's all that matters! Don't waste a single ounce of your energy or a second of your time worrying about what anyone else thinks. Our time and anergy are too precious to waste on negativity :)

  2. I agree with Steph. I also enjoy reading your blog and I don't think you should worry about what they have to say. They obviously have too much time on their hands if they are doing stuff like that.

  3. I know this is like a week late, but I had saved this post in my Google Reader. You DON'T need people in your life who do not make you a better person, do not respect you, and do nothing but make you unhappy. It is okay to break up with a friend. I have found more often than not, that "breaking up" can have a much better outcome in the end because you give yourself a break and time to get over things, then meet up later in life if you so choose. I've gone through MANY friend break ups and only one or two have remained broken up. Don't settle! Don't be friends with people just because you feel like you have to!! You want friends that you respect, that make you happy, make you smile, and make you feel GOOD about yourself! ... End rant. I sound like a mom. But I hate that I wasted so much time on people who took me for granted. You are great and special and beautiful and amazing and you should be told that. :)
    Good luck!

I LOVE hearing from you guys! Feel free to comment and email me as much as you like :)
