What I'm love love loving Wednesday!

Good Evening, Ladies!

I'm not use to posting so late in the evening but if you follow me on twitter you already have read that my day has been spent getting ready for "Mimi Eve!"

Who is Mimi?  Mimi is my mom's sister (I couldn't say Marilyn when I was little so I came up with Mimi) and she comes into town tomorrow and my mom goes CRAZY when she comes. I mean crazy as in I was dusting the liqour bottles in our bar downstairs in our basement. Yes, you read that correct: dusting.

Needless to say I welcome Aunt Mimi with open arms tomorrow, wide open arms!

Anywho..I'm linking up with Jamie for "What I'm loving Wednesday!"

This is what I'm loving so far today!

1. Aunt Mimi & Uncle Bill's arrival

Go on and laugh at these pictures of me! They are sooo old! Like, senior year in high school old! Let's just stop and observe for a minute and reflect how skinny I was. *sigh* I miss having arms that skinny and thighs that small. Aunt Mimi and Uncle Bill live in Maryland so I don't get to see them that often so it is nice when they get to come visit! Plus my Uncle is beyond funny!

2. Muffin Top Workout

Oh the good ole' muffin top! I have struggled with this bad boy but I started doing it a week or so ago and I must say I can tell something is going on because I ache the next day!
Go on, try it.

3. Winter Outfits

I love me some winter apparel. I just switched my summer clothes out of my closet and my winter clothes into and I'm so excited to start layering and wearing sweaters since I saw SNOWFLAKES specks of hell last night.

4. Urbanog.com
If you ladies follow the lovely Katie she talked about this website one day, and well..she got me hooked. Cyber Monday really put a hurting me from this website! I bought three new spankin pair of boots!

My computer is sassying me and I just don't have the patience to keep telling you what I love for the day.

What are you loving?

Top 5 Tuesday: November Favorites!

Ello' Everyone {I'm feeling a little British today}

I feel like these Top 5 Tuesdays are happening so quickly! Tuesday's are quickly becoming my favorite day to blog! Link up with Rachel from Just Peachy and join in on all the fun!
Just Peachy
These are the Top 5 things I'm diggin' about November!

1. Sweaters & Boots.
I live in sweaters and boots! I prefer the baggy sweaters so I can hide my pooch {also known as my bottom fat roll!} Something about just being all snuggled up during the day in a nice comfy sweater screams fall & November.
Do I even need to explain why I love wearing boots? Didn't think so..moving on!

2. Dark Colored Nail Polish
I change my nail polish color maybe every three days. I don't have a life..what do you want from me!?
November/Fall is the perfect time to experiment with different shades. I wear everything from a bright red, to a dark hunter green, which is what I'm currently wearing now!

3. The return of the Peppermint Mocha!
November is when the lovely Starbucks brings back my peppermint mocha and I couldn't be more excited about it! You better believe I drink one of these bad boys every day!

4. Christmas Lights!

Our zoo in Columbus has the BEST Christmas lights. I go every year, multiple times. It is so pretty to walk around at night and look at all the nights! The crew at the zoo does an amazing job! Once I go to the zoo lights it really starts to feel like the Holidays are right around the corner!

Last, but not least..

5. Family & Friend Time

This is the greatest part of November! With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner it really gives you time to spend time with your family and friends and spend quality time together. Remember kids, it's about quality not quantity.

Those are my top 5 Tuesday November favorties! What are yours?

Weekend Recap.

Good Afternoon, Ladies!

How is it possible that the weekend is already over? I feel like it just started! Anywho..lets recap this weekend shall we?

Thanksgiving was spent with my family and doing nothing but eating, watching football, eating, watching football, drinking, eating, etc...

At 11:30 my mom, cousin, and family friend and I ventured out to brave the crowds for Black Friday! We pulled up to Target and the line seriously wrapped around the store TWICE. That is just insane! My family and I never really go to score the latest deal we usually just go to make fun of everyone running up and down the aisles acting like a crazy fool.

The rest of my weekend was spent doing such things:

{decorating for Christmas}

{Spending time with my best friend who was in from Texas}
please excuse that man hand I have going on...

{friends galore}

{listening to my dad talk to Siri all weekend sending me annoying loving text messages like this..yes, he is that guy that uses Siri to wrote his texts since he sucks at typing}

I had a very relaxing few days off and it was much needed! I took some time to rest before my last week of college begins..yikes!

Notice I said nothing about those Buckeyes losing to dumn, stupid, annoying Michigan!?
Because, this is all I have to say..

WELCOME BACK!

What did you all do for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I realized something this morning as I was writing out my list of things that I am thankful for and for the first time I realized that the worth "thankful" really does not describe how I feel about my life. I started to think of maybe using the word greatful, blessed, lucky, fortunate..etc. However, none of those words helped describe how I feel this year.
Earlier this week I did a half serious/half joking list of what I am giving thanks to for this year but that list could have had another twenty things on it. I get to spend this Thanksgiving with family that means the world to me and who I would not be here without! My grandparents are getting older and memories fade for them quickly so it is nice to live in the moment with them and have them see first hand what I am thankful for.
I get to spend it with my parents who have provided me with this comfortable life that I live and have hardly ever said no to me in my life and gave me every tool I have ever needed to accomplish what I wanted and encouraged me the entire way.
I get to spend it with my brother and his lovely girlfriend who I am just as thankful for. She has done miracles for my brother and I's relationship and I could never repay her for that. My brother and I use to not be able to stay in a room with one another for 10 minutes and now we spend the entire time laughing and joking, and GASP we even agree on things {few things..babysteps people!}
The list could go on and on for what I am thankful for, and who I am thankful for. But, like I said the world "thankful" just really doesn't do it anymore.
So, with that I wish you ALL a very wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that the world "thankful" for you is just as powerful as it is fo rme.

Lots of love-
Kels

Top 5 Tuesday: Gobble! Gobble!

Holy Smokes! It's time for another Top 5 Tuesday! I thought I was super excited about last weeks but I'm REALLY excited about this weeks. Only really because I get to talk about all the food I get to consume the next few days!

Link up with this precious girl and tell us what your Top 5 things about Thanksgiving are!

Just Peachy

1. Homemade mashed potatoes
I happen to love anything potato! French fries, home fries, baked potato, potato chip...you get the picture. This girl right here loves her some potaotes! However, my mom makes dynoooomite mashed taters. Like, so good I may or may not eat six bowls {i will brag about this} in one Thanksgiving feast.
mmm...i can taste all the deliciousness now!

2. Family Time
I realized this makes me look like a terrible person that I put food before family. Sorry family. Every year Thanksgiving means more and more to me because we spend it with my grandparents and they are getting older. Not to sound depressing but you never know what could happen so I always cherish it. When my family gets together on Thanksgiving a few things happen...

1. Football blaring from the tv. Mom asking dad to turn it down, then dad turns it up to drowned out mom, and then grandpa shouts TURN THAT SHIT DOWN.
ohh..the joys of family time!
2. Lots of Oktoberfest is consumed..along with wine...vodka..wine..vodka. You know the drill rinse and repeat.
3. Mom and I scheme our strategy for Black Friday shopping!

3. Black Friday
I happen to be one of those crazy lunatics that gets two hours of sleep and perks up and hits all the stores roughly before 4am. Usually I go with my mom and my cousin! No one ever really buys anything for Christmas, we usually just walk around and make fun of all the crazies who slept in tents outside the night before! We go to Bob Evans, I get french toast and I go back to bed a happy camper.

4. OSU/ Michigan week
As you know, I go to THE Ohio State University and our biggest rival is stupid Michigan. There is nothing like the feeling I get during OSU/Michigan week. Usually its a happy feeling because I get to romp around campus in my "Michigan is our Bitchagain" shirt and be all proud of my bucks! However, this year that may not be the case because well, we just really aren't that good. But, it never gets old in saying.."GO BUCKS..MICHIGAN SUCKS!!!!!" Buckeye fans have always been so sportsman like!

5. End of Fall Quarter
Thanksgiving break means that the end of Fall quarter is rapidly approaching and finals are a week away! Which why am I so thankful for that you ask? Oh let me tell you! I will be GRADUATING!!!!!! Finallyyyyyyyyyyyy. It has been a rough/long/amazing journey but I can not WAIT to say I am an alum from one of the greatest universities!

What are your top 5 things about Thanksgiving?

Happy Tuesday loves!

Give Thanks!

Well, well, well...looky what we have here! Another Monday...

I wanted to write a post about what all I am thankful for since Thanksgiving is this WEEK. How did it become holiday season already!? I feel like I was eating shoving my face  just last week for Thanksgiving. However, I'm not complaining it is that time of year again!

I give Thanks for the following...

1. Mama & Daddy
I know everyone says that they have the best parents in the world but I really do have the best parents in the world. I have had a really rough year and they have been nothing but supportive and loving! I love all of my family and they are all amazing but my parents are my rock! Love you mommy & daddy!

2. February 2, 2009.

On February 2, 2009 I was in a car wreck that you can see in the pictures wasn't very pretty! I give thanks everyday to whoever/whatever was watching over me that day! Both air bags deployed and I didn't have any breaks or bruising in my face which usually happens when your airbag deploys. My seatbelt completely detached from the car from the impact and I somehow managed to stay in my seat and being completely fine. I had to have reconstructive knee surgery and was in a leg brace and crutches for 8 weeks. I am beyond lucky that that is all that happened to me and I thank God everytime I get in the car and drive every single day. I'm thankful to be alive and perfectly fine.

3. Jeni's ice cream
Yeah, I put an ice cream on my give thanks list. I can't help that I'm a fatty. But seriously, this is the best ice cream ever! A lady here in Columbus started it and it is TO DIE FOR. Her flavors are wild and crazy but so delicious at once. I'm not really thankful for this delicious treat but my thighs and ass are.

4. My health
I'm thankful I wake up every morning with a roof over my head and a healthy life.

5. My job!
I'm thankful I finally have a job where I really enjoy doing what I do and enjoy EVERYONE that I work with. Speaking of my job..I know my boss lady found my blog and reads it now...HIIIIIIIII Holly! Thank you for giving me such a great opportunity with Bubbles!

Last, but not least....

6. My Friends & {rest of}
Family

Sorry I know it's really picture heavy but my family and friends are all so wonderful and I am so lucky to have them! Thank you all for everything you do and I'm so thankful for you!

I have so much to give thanks for and am a very lucky girl! My heart goes out to those who are not as lucky as am!

Dear Santa..

Happy Friday Everyone!

Did you notice I didn't post for two whole days? Probably not! However, things have been crazy busy with finishing up my last few things for College. {excuse me, I graduate in 3 weeks? what. in. the. hell.} My new job is taking up a lot of my time and I love it!

But, with these weeks flyyyying by I've obviously come up with time to making a christmas list for myself so I can send it off to Santa Momma&Daddy !

This is what is on my list fo far this year...

1. Clairisonic. I have always wanted one and now that I work where I can get a discount Santa allowed me to get it this year {bought it last night at work!} However, my mother still holds onto everything and wraps it up for Christmas morning. Lame.

2. Michael Kors iphone holder
It's cute and will hold my phone when I go out..that's the only reason I want it.

3. Steve Jobs Biography
I never thought I would put a book on my Christmas list but I'm really excited to read this! I am an Apple snob and think his story is amazing.

4. Lilly Pulitzer Planner
I have had this planner for three years now and it is my FAVORITE planner in the world! It keeps me organized and is thick and has cute stickers to put on pages with important events! It's fun and girly!

5. Gift Cards
*Francesca's
*Express
*Forever 21
*H&M
*NORDSTROMS

My Christmas list isn't very exciting this year! I guess that is what happens when you get older!

What is on your Christmas list!?

Top 5 Tuesday: Nail polish Edition!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! All those "iiii's" are showing my enthusiasm for this post! Today's Top 5 is nail polish and I have a slight not healthy at all addiction to nail polish. Link up with Rachel from Just Peachy! Her Top 5 Tuesday's are a lot of fun!
I own approximately 41 bottles of nail polish. This fact I allow you to judge me on. 41 bottles of nail polish is jusy beyond insane.

Hi, my name is Kelsey, and I'm a nail polish addict...

Here are my favorite shades currently..

1. Essie's Bobbing For Baubles
It is a darker navy color and looks really pretty on! It is a perfect shade if you are looking for something that is dark but not too dark that matches a lot of different colors for outfits.

2. OPI's Meep-Meep-Meep
This is going to be my go to polish for Christmas! It is more of a red wine color with a hint of sparkles. I'm not a fan of sparkle polish usually so this is a nice balance of color and glitter.

3. OPI's Bubble Bath
Bubble Bath is my go to neutral shade. It covers nicely and only takes two coats, which is good for sheer colors. I wear this color a lot specially since I can never decide on what to wear!

4. OPI's Hot & Spicy
Hot & Spicy is what I use a lot in the summer! It has the perfect combination between a red and an orange shade. It really does look nice with a tan and makes your hands pop!

5. OPI's Suzie Loves Cowboys
I bought this shade a week ago and it is all I have worn! I have gotten so many compliments on it since I put it on! It is the perfect fall shade and it will most likely be on my nails all winter.

Now..Top 5 Tuesday: Nail Polish Remix!
These products are just the top coat and remover that I'm obsessed with! I highly recommend them!

6. Out the door Top Coat.

Hands down the best top coat in the world! Dries polish super fast and hardens it so it prevents it from chipping! When I use this I can make polish last at least 4-5 days without chipping and it's super shiney too! Perk: only costs 4.00 at Target or Walmart!

7. ZOYA 3-1 formula polish remover

I started using this polish remover about a month ago and it is all I use now. It is a little expensive but it lasts a long time and is the ONLY finger nail polish remover that actually removes ALL Of the polish. Even that dark nail polish that leaves an ugly residue on your fingers. Check it out!

I apologize for all the crappy iphone pictures but it was the best a girlfriend could do!

What are your favorite polishes!?

Hi, my name is Kelsey and I'm a hair snob...

I did something I never thought I would do! I, Kelsey Stoker, became an annoying  hair snob! I always thought people who spent tons of money on hair products were insane and that the cheap products worked just the same!

Boooooooy was I wrong. I've only been working at my job for a little over a week and have already been given a ton of free products from hair masks, hair sprays, conditioners, blow dry spray, leave in treatments, etc. My hair has never ever smelled so good, felt so good, and behaved like it has this past week! I feel like a brand new women!

These are a few of the hair products I've tried so far and now realize I will never be able to live life without from this day forward!

1. Moraccan Oil Hairspray
This is the best hairspray I've ever used in my entire life. It has a firm hold without making your hair crunchy and hard and it smells amazing! I actually ran out of perfume the other day and used the hairspray for perfume. Judge me.

2. NouNou Pak
This looks like a disgusting package of snot if I'm being honest. However, it is the best hair mask I've ever used on my hair. It smells like chip dip {so, naturally I loved it!} I put this one after I shampoo and let it sit on my hair {wet} for 2-4 hours. Usually I will watch a movie or do homework while it sits and then wash it out. Tada! My hair instantly feels 100% better! It only costs around 20ish bucks and you don't need a lot so it should last 3-6 months!

3. Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner
I sound like a Moroccan Oil rep today, my apologies! I recently tried this shampoo and conditioner and was a little worried because usually my hair is to thick to use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner because it is to heavy on my hair and makes it greasy but this one does not do that! It left my hair feeling super soft and luscious!

These are just a few of the products I have used the past few days! I have a TON of samples and am slowly but surely getting through them deciding which I like and which I do not! Stay tuned for all my rave reviews...I'm sure you are dying to read them!

This is all ok, right?

Holy Toledo! How is it Thursday!?

I'm linking up with Neely for It's ok Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays

The following things are A-ok to me..

*That I almost ended the life of a small child at Starbucks today because he came extremely close to spilling his hot chocolate all over my mac. There would have been blood if it had happened.

*That I have been at Starbucks for a little over an hour and had two peppermint mocha's already.
{sleepy much?}

*That my professor not only cancelled class the Wednesday BEFORE but the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving as well. Score!

*That while riding the bus to campus this morning the boy sitting next to me smelled so delicious I may or may not have scooted a little closer.

*I graduate college in less than a month. This is actually not ok, it scares the living shit out of me.

*That I was in a real foul mood last night but good attitude Kelsey is back.

*That I used my new Moraccan Oil hairspray {heaven in a bottle} as perfume this morning because I ran out of me. Judge me.

*That even at the old age of 24 my Christmas list is still rather long.

*That I'm having such a good hair day I thought about taking a picture of it on my laptop..but people started staring.

*That I have watched this scene from Glee approxiamtly 15 times because I'm obsessed with this remix of the song..and Darren Criss.

*That while I have been at Starbucks I was suppose to be doing homework {puhlease} but, instead facebook stalked every person on my friends list practically.

All of those things are completely a-ok with me for the day!

What are you ok with?!

frustrated.

This post will be short and sweet because I don't really have much to stay.
I'm the kind of person that doesn't usually stand up for myself and lets people walk all over me because I just don't like controversy. But, today I do not feel like being the bigger person.

It has been brought to my attention that a few "friends" of mine are sending the link to my blog to one another just to make fun of me and what I post about behind my back.

I am a good friend. I have answered every phone call when it rings, answer every text even if it is 4am, and I am there whenever you need me, day or night. To think that this is how I get "thanked" for all of that? It doesn't really make me mad that you are making fun of me behind my back because you have done it for years and I've just ignored it really. But, it makes me mad that I kept telling myself to consider these people as "friends." I'll be honest, it really does hurt. But yet, I just let those people run all over me and never once stood up for myself.
If you want to take time out of your day to send my blog to someone via facebook or a text message that's fine...but at least have the guts to say those same things to my face. If you don't like what I'm blogging about or saying I can only say one thing, don't read it.

It is really sad when people not only judge you in real life but in the "blogging world" to.

That's all I have to say.

Oh, how Pinteresting & Holiday Bun!

I know..I know I should be smacked for talking about Holiday anything, but i just can not  help it! I will explain later...lets do the damn' thing. Don't forget to link up with Michelle for Oh, how Pinteresting!

I would like my shoe closet to look like this..pronto!

Fact: I live in knee socks & riding boots.

Random: saw this and it made my heart melt and I may have  for sure did not cry.
I will take this outfit stat. Perfect fall outfit for Ohio!

Well how cute are these for the holidays!?

Speaking of Holidays...lets talk bun.
I have been obsessed with big, fat, teased buns lately. Like the kind that are obnoxious and stick on top of your head bun!
Well.. .tada!
I accomplished! It is not only a terrible picture{I told you I'll be real on this blog of mine}of my me but the front part of my hair as well! But, look at that beauty sitting on top of my head! I will be spending the next few days perfecting it at work {greatest job ever!} This is just a sloppy version people, remember that!
It is the poifect bun for the holidays because it says "Hey, I'm here to party" all while keeping it classy {something I need to work on!}
You too can have such a nice bun by following these simple steps!

Bun away girls!
