Summer Styles!

Hii.. guys! I am currently laying on a beach, sippin' cocktails, and getting as bronzed as I can and I have graced you guys with some AMAZING guest bloggers.

First up, Emily over at Life of Emily. I have a special spot in my heart for this girl because she was one of the first girls to follow my blog and comment.

So, enjoy her post and show my girl some love.
Can't wait to tell you all about my vacation when I return.
xoxoxo.

Hey everyone! My name is Emily and I am blogging for the wonderful Kelsey today while she is on vacation, isn't she lucky! You can find me at Life with Emily where I blog about my life, fashion, entertainment and everything in between!

oh hey, that's me!

Today I am going to let you in on the summer looks I am loving. Kelsey and I share a passion for all things clothes/handbags/accessories so I know this post will fit right in with her blog! Summertime brings out all of the great prints, pastels, and sleeveless outfits that I love. Summer is definitely my favorite season for clothing (...fall is a close second!)

Summer Looks I Love....

Printed Bottoms: Printed bottoms have been my new favorite item lately. Whether they are shorts, capris, or (gasp) pants I have loved trying this trend! There are so many ways to style printed bottoms and can easily be carried from day to night attire. They are pretty bold (be prepared to get some stares) but are so fun to try! Hey, you will always stand out, and who doesn't love to do that?!

Nautical Looks: When I think of summer I think of the beach, the sand, and being anywhere near water. Nautical looks allow me to feel like I have a little bit of the beach with me at all times. J.Crew has had some fabulous nautical pieces this summer (and I want every single one of them).

Bold Accessories: I am from the south, which means our summers are scorching (it is currently 104 degrees here....seriously). I like to usually wear simple and cool clothing to keep from melting in the heat. An easy way to spice that up is to add bold accessories, like a necklace of bangles, to an outfit. They spice any outfit up- even that simple LBD. So, the next time you're looking to add to an outfit try something bold! You can't go wrong with it!

Wedges: While I am a lover of clothes and handbags, I also have a soft spot for shoes. Wedges, in particular. They are the perfect summer shoe in my opinion. They look cute and add to an outfit while still being comfortable (err...most of the time). I love wearing wedges with my shorts and dresses to feel a little more girly and sassy!

I could go on and on...and on about summer looks that I love, but I'll spare y'all!
What looks do you love for the summer time?

Thanks Kelsey for letting me guest post for you!
I hope you're having a fabulous time on vacation!
You can find me here

Now, do ya see why I just love that girl, so adorable!
Thank you, Emily for guest blogging :)
All of you need to go to her blog and follow....asap.

Family Vacations & Channing.

Haaaappy Friday!

Let me be the first to say that I am oh so glad it is FRIDAY!
Why you ask? Well...

1. I saw the midnight showing of Magic Mike last night, and well I have no words to describe my love for Channing. He is one gorgeous, sexy, hottttt, pieces off ass.
Yes, I just said piece of ass.
Ladies, ladies, ladies, do yourself a favor and go see that movie..like asap. Don't wait till tomorrow, go now.
Because, he looks like this the ENTIRE movie.

2. Because it's friday, duh.
3. Tonight is girls night.
4. I'm leaving tomorrow to head to Maryland to see my FAAAMMMIIILLLY.

Now, my mom is from the east coast, Easton, Maryland if we want to get technical. So, we try to go back to her "roots" at least once a year or every couple and visit the family.
Growing up we didn't always go to Maryland, sometimes we would go to Myrtle Beach and certain things would happen like my TWO OLDER cousins and OLDER BROTHER LOSING ME {at the young age of 5} at the beach.
Oh...the memories.

Or, sometimes we would go to Deep Creek lake and romp around there looking for things. I'm not sure what kind of things we did there because I was young and don't remember it, I just know we have a shit ton of family photo's to prove I was in fact there at one point.

As we grow older our family vacations & holiday get togethers started looking more and more like this...

we do shots, lots and lots of shots.

..and drink a shit ton of beer.

..and perhaps a shit ton of liquor.

We always end up dancing.
{let's not judge my outfits on a few of these, throwbacks from 2006}

Oh look, we are still doing shots.

..and we ALWAYS, ALWAYS drink out of Pam Price cups.
{my aunt is Pam Price and she is a badass realtor..with her own cups}

We also may, or may not, hold people down on the ground {aka me} and plug their noses and pour shots down their throats.
Oh Emerald Isle, and your memories.

Most people dread going on family vacations, I however, count down the days until I get to spend seven days with them. We don't get to spend a lot of time with one another, so when we do we always make up for it.

I can't wait to spend seven days doing nothing but, drinking with my cousin Casey, swimming, laying out, going to the beach, baseball games, crab feasts, Busch gardens, fireworks, more booze, my aunt & moms cooking, seeing my adorable little cousins, hearing my Uncle Bill say "for shiiiiiit sake" and dancing and singing whatever song comes on the pod with my Aunt Pam.

I have some fantastic guest bloggers lined up for when I am gone, so make sure you show them some  l-o-v-e.

Not sure how or why, but I'll take it.

Happy Thursday!
I can't tell you how excited I am for this day! I have logged 40 hours already before today and it is my last day before VACA!

hallllaaa freaaakkking leaaauuuhhh.

So, if you follow me on twitter {kelseystoker1} or instagram {kelseystoker}, and if you don't, you should.
sick of my plugs yet?
You have seen my pictures/tweets in the past day about me moving into my new condo with my friends Alicia and Katie.

It made me start to think about things and people in my life right now and how I got to this really good place that I am at.

For example...

I'm not sure how or why these three girls came into my life but i'm so glad they did. They are the best girlfriends I could ever, ever, ever ask for. Whenever we are all together it is nothing but a good time and night full of laughter. But, when I need nothing but support and the best advice, they always know exactly what to say!
Holly, Alicia, Amber: I wuv you.

I'm not sure how or why that recruiter from Saks' decided to contact me about this job and why my resume stuck out above everyone else's but, I'm so glad it did.
This job is exactly where I need to be right now. I know I preached on and on about how I wanted out of the store into the corporate world, but honestly, after only two weeks at Saks I take it back.
The people I have met already, and the things I've learned are just mind blowing. I'm so excited for my future and watch myself grow within this role and with this company.
Have you ever just had a gut feeling that you belong somewhere and it will take you somewhere?
That is the feeling I have with Saks, and I love every minute of it.

I'm not sure how or why I ended up coming out of retirement for Cheerleading and am now the Freshmen cheer coach {for football and basketball} for Westerville North High School with the lovely Holly. I grew up cheerleading, and cheered all the way through my junior year. I'm going to have to brush up on my high v's and hurdles.
But, let's be real, I'm mostly just excited about the sweatpants I get that say coach and to scope out the coaches of the football team.
Kidding, kind of.
I'm honestly excited to interact with high schoolers doing something I use to love doing too. I think it will be a learning experience to say the least.

I'm not sure how or why I ended up getting to live with Alicia and Katie in this gorgeous condo that Alicia so graciously let us move into.
I mean, hello beautiful.
Don't get me wrong I loved living at home with my mom and dad. Not everyday, but most days I really didn't mind it. But, sista had to go. I'm going to be poor and not be able to buy vodka like it's water but that is probably going to be a good thing. I'm so excited for this new chapter and to start over fresh!

bottom line: i'm not sure how or why I ended up in this great place.
Not just in the past few months, but in the past year between working at Bubbles Beauty I have met some of the greatest friends ever as well and am just as blessed to have them. I started out on a path a few months ago and thought I would end up on another one and when that one didn't work out I created this one, and it is a much better path.
For awhile I just kept thinking "how or why did I end up in such a bad place?"
Now, I realize going through all that pain and the tough times were worth it.
I'm not sure how or why I ended up in this position but, I'll take it.

Have you ever wondered how or why you ended up in a certain place? For the good or bad?

Top 5 Tuesday: Hottie Edition.

Oh hello there, everyone.
I'm very excited about this post, and I'm sure by the end of it, you will be too.

I'm linking up with Rachel from Just Peachy for Top 5 Tuesday and this week we get to talk about a topic near and dear to my heart; celebrities {hottie} editiion.
So, hop on over to her page and join in on the fun.

Just Peachy

1. Channing Tatum
I mean, seriously? How does one man look this?
I would like to do a lot of things to do those abs...actually I would like to do a lot to that body of his.
I will be seeing magic mike this weekend..more than once.

2. Matthew McConaughey
I mean if a picture could paint a thousand words?
Look at that smile!

3. Colin Egglesfield
Mmm. I watch "Something Borrowed" over and over again just to see his gorgeous face.

4. Adam Levine
His tattoo's make me go crazy, and if this picture does nothing for you, well then, you just probably should be slapped in the face. I mean good god all mighty he is gorgeous. He can move like jagger with me alllll day long.

5. Terrence Jenkins
i love that smile. He actually is a BET something or other and has only been in one move {Act like a lady, think like a man} but, I LOVE him. Like, may or may not be obsessed with him.
How could you not be with that face?

It was so hard to pick just five hotties. I really didn't put them in any specific order because if I had done that well then, this post would have never ever gotten done.
However, I didn't mind sitting on my laptop and googling pictures for hours of all these men.
I didn't mind one bit!
Good top 5 topic, rachel.

What are your favorites hotties?

ps. if you follow me on twitter {and if you don't you should kelseystoker1} you saw I need guest bloggers! I still need about 4 more! So, puhlease {in my best begging voice} contact me if you would like too!
Now, go wipe your drool off from looking at all those delicious babes :)

25 things.

holy moly, it's monday.
This weekend went by so fast I feel like it didn't even happen!

Well, since i got one email about the Q&A ya'll have to read a post about 25 things about me. Not that many people read this anyway, but, enjoy.

maybe we will try this Q&A thing again when we get that follower count up to triple digits.

Ok, so here we go.

1. It will be a miracle if I actually stick it out and come up with 25 facts about me.
2. I hate condiments and eat everything practically plain.
i.e. ketchup, mustard, salad dressing. I just started putting the smallest amount of sauce on my spaghetti THIS year.
3. I'm very very sarcastic and when I realllllly want to get my sarcastic/bitchy point across I will follow any sentence with "shocker."
4. I'm known to say at least two curse words {one being the eff bomb} in at least every sentence.
5. I've been known to wear a headband across my forehead a time or two.

6. I have had my heart broken only one time in my life.
7. I have the best friend a girl could ever, ever ask for. Because, even when I am having a bad day she knows how to make me laugh by maybe using my ex's name and jerry sandusky's in the same sentence. I never said she could get me to laugh in an appororiate way.

8. I may or may not steal tampons from restraunts that offer them in the bathrooms.
What? A girl has got to have a spare in her purse, don't act like you haven't done it.
9. Until a few years ago I didn't know you could drive to Mexico.
{Geography and directions has never been a strength of mine!}
10. I'm a die hard buckeye fan, and a bitter one at that sometimes and I will not apologize for it.
Ann Arbor will be a whore till the day I die.
11. I'm really, really, really bad at admitting when I'm wrong and it is my greatest flaw.
12. It took me 5 1/2 years to graudate, but getting my diploma from THE Ohio State University will be my greatest memory.

13. I have had every hair color known to man kind.
dark brown.

light brown.

platinum blonde.

13. I'm known to also carry mini bottles of vodka around with me.
I just like to bring a little bit of the party with me wherever I go.

14. I have a very inapproriate crush on Justin Bieber.
15. I own 42 bottles of nail polish, and that is not counting however many bottles are upstairs that I am just to lazy to count.
16. I always get really excited about blog giveaways I see but am too lazy to enter them.
Do you see a pattern in these two facts?
17. I am terrible with grammer and do not give a faaackk.
18. I read the essentails weekly: people, US Weekly, People Style & Glamour.
19. Once you get on my bad side it's really hard to get back on my good side.
20. I've learned A LOT of hard lessons in the past year but would not take any of them back because I have become such a better, stronger, more independant person because of them.
21. I have one tattoo and at first said I would never get another..jokes on me.
22. I have naturally super curly hair.
23. I'm obsessed with cheese and would eat it with everything if it was healthy.
24. I've seen every episode of Friday Night Lights, Grey's Anatomy, Sex & The City, Private Practice, and Gossip Girl...twice.
25. I love vodka.

Holy shit.
I made it through all 25.

I'm sure you all feel like you can start your day now that you have read those.

Q&A time.

oh hey there, girlfrans.

So, I have decided I am going to do a Q&A post if I get enough questions!
If not, I am going to do a 25 facts about me! I feel like I need to put more about ME out there for you guys. I feel like I have left a lot out and want you all to know the REAL me.

So, you have two options.
1. ask as many questions as you like.
Seriously, nothings is off limits! Ask anything from my recent breakup, to fashion, to my favorite kind of drink, to what shampoo I use, or to what I do at my new job, or why did I just NOW start eating spaghetti sauce {no one said I was normal.}  You can ask more then one..so get to thinking.
or...
2. You have to deal with a post that has 25 facts about me and only me.

So, pick your poison.

I am going to give you guys until Sunday probably to ask questions and post the answers on Monday!

If you don't feel like commenting the questions on here you can always email me!
kelseystoker@gmail.com

Next week I am going to tell you all about the new job! If you follow me on twitter, and if you don't, you probably should {kelseystoker1} or instagram {cough cough, kelseystoker} you are probably sick of hearing about it, but, too bad. You will now get to read an entire post about it.
I bet you are all jumping with joy.

xoxo to all of you-

Mr & Mrs. Mack.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I can not tell you how happy I am today! This weather we are having here in Columbus could only be described with one word, gorgeous.

As I sit on my porch and type this my thermometer reads 70 and the sun is shining oh so brightly!
hollddd up, who the hell is this positive Kelsey, and what the hell happened to the old one?!

Anyway, while I'm discussing beautiful and gorgeous things let's recap the wedding I was in a few weeks ago. As I mentioned a few weeks ago my dear friend Natasha got married and I was lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids.

This wedding took my bridesmaid v card and I really didn't know what I was expecting. Would I be the drunk bridesmaid? Would I cry like a baby when she walked down the aisle, because I cry at everything. Would I be the bridesmaid that kept her cool, calm, and collected?
What would it be like?

Well, it was truly one of the most rewarding things I've done. I, of course showed up with a flask and a bottle of vodka and sipped on screwdrivers all mornings. I, did in fact ball like a baby when I saw Natasha walk down the aisle towards Jordan. I didn't need to be the one to keep her calm because that girl was as cool as a cucumber all day long.
No freak outs, no yelling, no screaming.
It made my heart extremely happy to see one of my good friends get to marry the man of her dreams. I got to see her promise to spend the rest of her life with the man who treats her exactly like she deserves to be treated, a princess.

Here are some pictures from the glorious day <3

yeah, see me wiping my eye...that's me ballin like a baby.

I'm so happy for you Natasha & Jordan! Love you guys so much and wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and nothing but the best!

ps. I think I'm going to copy my homegirl Alicia {what's new} and do the Q&A thing..soo start thinkin' of some good ones. You can ask me anything from my break up, fashion, friends, booze, blah blah blah.
