FaceTime.

Oh hey there girlfrands.
I can't believe I haven't posted in 5 days..phew! I've been one busy girl.

Yes, this girl right here finally finished college. Thank you to the heavens above! Well, I'm pretty sure I am finished unless I completely bombed my exam. Wouldn't that suck!

Did you loves have a good weekend? Tell me all about it...

Now, let's discuss today's title, shall we?

No, I'm not refering to facetime on my iphone! I am referring to skin care! I just started using a new skin care line that we carry at work and to say that I am in LOVE with it is the understatement of the century. So, I thought I would share my daily skin care routine with ya'll.

I introduce you to my best friend..

I use three products everyday from dermalogica and just in these few weeks that I've started using it my skin has done a complete 180.

In the morning I just wash my face with warm water and throw on some light oil free moisturizer. My evening rutine is the following.

Step 1. Precleanse
I can't go to bed at night with any makeup on my face and this stuff is a glorious. It is a light oil that you rub on your face that removes everything and I mean everything off of your face! All that foundation, bronzer, mascara! All of it! My face has never felt so clean! When you use a precleanse before actually cleansing it allows you to get deeper into your pores allowing for a cleaner face!

Step 2. Clearing Face Wash
I only wash my face at night because my skin is naturally oily but dry at the same time if that makes sense! This face wash really makes my face feel clean and refreshed and prevents breakouts and has helped minimize my pores greatly.

Step 3. Active Moist

After cleansing I use this active moist and it really is moisturizing and makes my face feel super smooth and refreshed!

Every other day after washing I will use a toner before putting on my active moist and that really helps hydrate my skin and make it look refreshed!

I'm sure you all are delighted to know what my facetime routine is! It really is important to take care of your skin and use the right products for it! Luckily my new job has helped show me that!

What are your favorite face products?

What I'm love love loving Wednesday!

Good Evening, Ladies!

I'm not use to posting so late in the evening but if you follow me on twitter you already have read that my day has been spent getting ready for "Mimi Eve!"

Who is Mimi?  Mimi is my mom's sister (I couldn't say Marilyn when I was little so I came up with Mimi) and she comes into town tomorrow and my mom goes CRAZY when she comes. I mean crazy as in I was dusting the liqour bottles in our bar downstairs in our basement. Yes, you read that correct: dusting.

Needless to say I welcome Aunt Mimi with open arms tomorrow, wide open arms!

Anywho..I'm linking up with Jamie for "What I'm loving Wednesday!"

This is what I'm loving so far today!

1. Aunt Mimi & Uncle Bill's arrival

Go on and laugh at these pictures of me! They are sooo old! Like, senior year in high school old! Let's just stop and observe for a minute and reflect how skinny I was. *sigh* I miss having arms that skinny and thighs that small. Aunt Mimi and Uncle Bill live in Maryland so I don't get to see them that often so it is nice when they get to come visit! Plus my Uncle is beyond funny!

2. Muffin Top Workout

Oh the good ole' muffin top! I have struggled with this bad boy but I started doing it a week or so ago and I must say I can tell something is going on because I ache the next day!
Go on, try it.

3. Winter Outfits

I love me some winter apparel. I just switched my summer clothes out of my closet and my winter clothes into and I'm so excited to start layering and wearing sweaters since I saw SNOWFLAKES specks of hell last night.

4. Urbanog.com
If you ladies follow the lovely Katie she talked about this website one day, and well..she got me hooked. Cyber Monday really put a hurting me from this website! I bought three new spankin pair of boots!

My computer is sassying me and I just don't have the patience to keep telling you what I love for the day.

Top 5 Tuesday: November Favorites!

Ello' Everyone {I'm feeling a little British today}

I feel like these Top 5 Tuesdays are happening so quickly! Tuesday's are quickly becoming my favorite day to blog! Link up with Rachel from Just Peachy and join in on all the fun!
Just Peachy
These are the Top 5 things I'm diggin' about November!

1. Sweaters & Boots.
I live in sweaters and boots! I prefer the baggy sweaters so I can hide my pooch {also known as my bottom fat roll!} Something about just being all snuggled up during the day in a nice comfy sweater screams fall & November.
Do I even need to explain why I love wearing boots? Didn't think so..moving on!

2. Dark Colored Nail Polish
I change my nail polish color maybe every three days. I don't have a life..what do you want from me!?
November/Fall is the perfect time to experiment with different shades. I wear everything from a bright red, to a dark hunter green, which is what I'm currently wearing now!

3. The return of the Peppermint Mocha!
November is when the lovely Starbucks brings back my peppermint mocha and I couldn't be more excited about it! You better believe I drink one of these bad boys every day!

4. Christmas Lights!

Our zoo in Columbus has the BEST Christmas lights. I go every year, multiple times. It is so pretty to walk around at night and look at all the nights! The crew at the zoo does an amazing job! Once I go to the zoo lights it really starts to feel like the Holidays are right around the corner!

Last, but not least..

5. Family & Friend Time

This is the greatest part of November! With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner it really gives you time to spend time with your family and friends and spend quality time together. Remember kids, it's about quality not quantity.

Those are my top 5 Tuesday November favorties! What are yours?

Weekend Recap.

Good Afternoon, Ladies!

How is it possible that the weekend is already over? I feel like it just started! Anywho..lets recap this weekend shall we?

Thanksgiving was spent with my family and doing nothing but eating, watching football, eating, watching football, drinking, eating, etc...

At 11:30 my mom, cousin, and family friend and I ventured out to brave the crowds for Black Friday! We pulled up to Target and the line seriously wrapped around the store TWICE. That is just insane! My family and I never really go to score the latest deal we usually just go to make fun of everyone running up and down the aisles acting like a crazy fool.

The rest of my weekend was spent doing such things:

{decorating for Christmas}

{Spending time with my best friend who was in from Texas}
please excuse that man hand I have going on...

{friends galore}

{listening to my dad talk to Siri all weekend sending me annoying loving text messages like this..yes, he is that guy that uses Siri to wrote his texts since he sucks at typing}

I had a very relaxing few days off and it was much needed! I took some time to rest before my last week of college begins..yikes!

Notice I said nothing about those Buckeyes losing to dumn, stupid, annoying Michigan!?
Because, this is all I have to say..

WELCOME BACK!

What did you all do for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

 I realized something this morning as I was writing out my list of things that I am thankful for and for the first time I realized that the worth "thankful" really does not describe how I feel about my life. I started to think of maybe using the word greatful, blessed, lucky, fortunate..etc. However, none of those words helped describe how I feel this year.
Earlier this week I did a half serious/half joking list of what I am giving thanks to for this year but that list could have had another twenty things on it. I get to spend this Thanksgiving with family that means the world to me and who I would not be here without! My grandparents are getting older and memories fade for them quickly so it is nice to live in the moment with them and have them see first hand what I am thankful for.
I get to spend it with my parents who have provided me with this comfortable life that I live and have hardly ever said no to me in my life and gave me every tool I have ever needed to accomplish what I wanted and encouraged me the entire way.
I get to spend it with my brother and his lovely girlfriend who I am just as thankful for. She has done miracles for my brother and I's relationship and I could never repay her for that. My brother and I use to not be able to stay in a room with one another for 10 minutes and now we spend the entire time laughing and joking, and GASP we even agree on things {few things..babysteps people!}
The list could go on and on for what I am thankful for, and who I am thankful for. But, like I said the world "thankful" just really doesn't do it anymore.
So, with that I wish you ALL a very wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that the world "thankful" for you is just as powerful as it is fo rme.

Lots of love-
Kels

Top 5 Tuesday: Gobble! Gobble!

Holy Smokes! It's time for another Top 5 Tuesday! I thought I was super excited about last weeks but I'm REALLY excited about this weeks. Only really because I get to talk about all the food I get to consume the next few days!

Link up with this precious girl and tell us what your Top 5 things about Thanksgiving are!

Just Peachy

1. Homemade mashed potatoes
I happen to love anything potato! French fries, home fries, baked potato, potato chip...you get the picture. This girl right here loves her some potaotes! However, my mom makes dynoooomite mashed taters. Like, so good I may or may not eat six bowls {i will brag about this} in one Thanksgiving feast.
mmm...i can taste all the deliciousness now!

2. Family Time
I realized this makes me look like a terrible person that I put food before family. Sorry family. Every year Thanksgiving means more and more to me because we spend it with my grandparents and they are getting older. Not to sound depressing but you never know what could happen so I always cherish it. When my family gets together on Thanksgiving a few things happen...

1. Football blaring from the tv. Mom asking dad to turn it down, then dad turns it up to drowned out mom, and then grandpa shouts TURN THAT SHIT DOWN.
ohh..the joys of family time!
2. Lots of Oktoberfest is consumed..along with wine...vodka..wine..vodka. You know the drill rinse and repeat.
3. Mom and I scheme our strategy for Black Friday shopping!

3. Black Friday
I happen to be one of those crazy lunatics that gets two hours of sleep and perks up and hits all the stores roughly before 4am. Usually I go with my mom and my cousin! No one ever really buys anything for Christmas, we usually just walk around and make fun of all the crazies who slept in tents outside the night before! We go to Bob Evans, I get french toast and I go back to bed a happy camper.

4. OSU/ Michigan week
As you know, I go to THE Ohio State University and our biggest rival is stupid Michigan. There is nothing like the feeling I get during OSU/Michigan week. Usually its a happy feeling because I get to romp around campus in my "Michigan is our Bitchagain" shirt and be all proud of my bucks! However, this year that may not be the case because well, we just really aren't that good. But, it never gets old in saying.."GO BUCKS..MICHIGAN SUCKS!!!!!" Buckeye fans have always been so sportsman like!

5. End of Fall Quarter
Thanksgiving break means that the end of Fall quarter is rapidly approaching and finals are a week away! Which why am I so thankful for that you ask? Oh let me tell you! I will be GRADUATING!!!!!! Finallyyyyyyyyyyyy. It has been a rough/long/amazing journey but I can not WAIT to say I am an alum from one of the greatest universities!

What are your top 5 things about Thanksgiving?

Happy Tuesday loves!

Give Thanks!

Well, well, well...looky what we have here! Another Monday...

I wanted to write a post about what all I am thankful for since Thanksgiving is this WEEK. How did it become holiday season already!? I feel like I was eating shoving my face  just last week for Thanksgiving. However, I'm not complaining it is that time of year again!

I give Thanks for the following...

1. Mama & Daddy
I know everyone says that they have the best parents in the world but I really do have the best parents in the world. I have had a really rough year and they have been nothing but supportive and loving! I love all of my family and they are all amazing but my parents are my rock! Love you mommy & daddy!

2. February 2, 2009.

On February 2, 2009 I was in a car wreck that you can see in the pictures wasn't very pretty! I give thanks everyday to whoever/whatever was watching over me that day! Both air bags deployed and I didn't have any breaks or bruising in my face which usually happens when your airbag deploys. My seatbelt completely detached from the car from the impact and I somehow managed to stay in my seat and being completely fine. I had to have reconstructive knee surgery and was in a leg brace and crutches for 8 weeks. I am beyond lucky that that is all that happened to me and I thank God everytime I get in the car and drive every single day. I'm thankful to be alive and perfectly fine.

3. Jeni's ice cream
Yeah, I put an ice cream on my give thanks list. I can't help that I'm a fatty. But seriously, this is the best ice cream ever! A lady here in Columbus started it and it is TO DIE FOR. Her flavors are wild and crazy but so delicious at once. I'm not really thankful for this delicious treat but my thighs and ass are.

4. My health
I'm thankful I wake up every morning with a roof over my head and a healthy life.

5. My job!
I'm thankful I finally have a job where I really enjoy doing what I do and enjoy EVERYONE that I work with. Speaking of my job..I know my boss lady found my blog and reads it now...HIIIIIIIII Holly! Thank you for giving me such a great opportunity with Bubbles!

Last, but not least....

6. My Friends & {rest of}
Family

Sorry I know it's really picture heavy but my family and friends are all so wonderful and I am so lucky to have them! Thank you all for everything you do and I'm so thankful for you!

I have so much to give thanks for and am a very lucky girl! My heart goes out to those who are not as lucky as am!
